Ziva had a great time this morning at Fletcher Park! With any trip we take, we practice lots of circles and back to back commands to get Ziva focused and in work mode. If the leash is on, her attention needs to be on me. Once we burned off some energy, it was time to venture into the park where there were lots of squirrels playing and dogs playing fetch. Ziva did a great job walking past it all without barking. She practiced long distance work and recall by holding her DOWN and then running to me when called. What a good girl Ziva! When it was time to leave, she sat to wait before I invited her into the car instead of her deciding when she wanted to go. It was a great morning for Z!
