When Ziva has free time in the house, she can follow me around as long as she respects my space. Sometimes I don’t need her in the same room as me. When I’m cooking, she has to WAIT outside of the kitchen. When I’m making my bed, I tell her WAIT at the doorway of my room and block her with my body. Then she is free to do anything except cross into the room. She tries to cheat by lying down and putting her paws in the doorway, but I’m onto her. Not one foot in the doorway Ziva! This also creates a healthy relationship showing her it’s ok for us to be apart. No need to guard and worry over me!
