Oakley is learning to wait patiently at the crate before coming out. She doesn’t get to come out if she’s over the top excited or trying to push past me. I simply stand calmly, letting her get her excitement out, then inviting her when I have her attention. The crate is a threshold like all other doorways, so she must be calm before she can come into my space. Good job Oakley!
