Daisy is learning to wait outside of the kitchen. Wait means not one foot passed the threshold. She can stand there, find a toy, sniff around the house, sit, or anything as long as she chooses to do something calm that doesn’t involve following me. This is a great thing to practice in other off limits rooms throughout the house as well. It also builds confidence, showing her everything is just fine if we aren’t attached at the hip.
