Practice telling your dog to WAIT in the car. Use your entire body to quickly block them as soon as the car door opens and tell them WAIT with your hands up like a stop sign 🖐🏼. They may or may not be released to come out. Practice in your driveway getting in and out calmly where it’s safe before you attempt real situations where their safety & obedience matter the most. I think our trainees know to WAIT for us to take yet another picture!
