To make sure that Valla knows that the toys and bones are MINE, I practice taking toys away, swapping, and then giving them back. All the dogs learn that they cannot steal what the other has as well as learning that they have to be okay with me taking things away. Making these rules clear keeps the dogs from trying to establish the order and rules on their own!
