When you are working with an anxious dog, its important to give them clear rules and routine. Making it very clear what is expected of them, gives them a sense of accomplishment and purpose and helps to ease anxiety. Since we can’t speak their language, creating a daily routine is key so that your dog knows what to expect. With a smart, working type dog like Tyson, doing obedience drills (sit, stay, come, down, etc.) really wears out his brain and helps him settle. He’s really good at it too and has started to work off leash as well.

Good boy, Tyson! Can’t wait to see all you’ve learned. Thanks, Donnie.
