Titus is starting with the basics of leadership as he settles into a routine. The first rule of training camp is to sit at doorways and wait to be released, whether you’re coming or going. This accomplishes several things. It shows Titus people control space on either side of the door. It helps build self control and prevents door dashing so he has to wait and check in with you instead of doing what he wants. A dog who rushes past you is saying “I don’t have time for you!” Sitting at the door also brings the energy level down, making everything you do start out calm. The longer he waits, the more he has to think! Good job Titus!
