Basil is a major counter surfer! I’m about to teach him OFF when there is food around. Early correction is the key, so not even sniffing is allowed. Dogs show respect by giving space. I’ll start by establishing kitchen boundaries and then progress to having him settle on his mat while we eat (w/no leash)! This boy is super smart, so stay tuned! Baby steps!
