Titan is learning that he is not in charge of our walks. I choose where we go by always being in front. To start a walk, he sits at the gate while I go out first – no more charging ahead! Then we take a nice relaxed walk through the neighborhood, stopping to sit and down. Giving him commands to follow keeps his attention on me and tires him out. By being in control and in front, I’m showing Titan that he doesn’t need to be on guard. I’ve got it all taken care of!
