Stella is learning dogs are not allowed in the kitchen. Telling her “wait” at the opening of the kitchen lets her know she cannot step through the threshold. She can lie down or go into other parts of the house just as long as her paws do not cross into the kitchen. This exercise was especially hard because I was making bacon! Stella passed with flying colors and stayed out the whole time! Good girl!
