One of the first lessons all training camp dogs learn is sit at doorways! This enforces our leadership by showing that we’re in charge of who goes in and out and when. An extra stop and sit at the top of the steps is really good for practicing self control. It shows Sophie just because I’ve released her through the door she still can’t dash out past me, down the steps and into the yard. Great job Sophie!!
