Heading out to the park with your dog or wherever can be just as exciting for you as it is for your him! Remember to maintain your leadership despite your excitement by keeping everything on your terms and only when your dog is calm. Sophie LOVES the agility park and is very excited to get to it and have fun. I have her sit and wait in the crate before getting out of the car then we do circles and drills before going into the agility course. Once inside she must continue to pay attention and to me continue onto the course for fun. A sit on the balance beam while watching another dog on the hurdles was a great self control exercise and she did great!!! Good Girl Sophie!!!
