Rosie is a great dog and already knows her commands very well. However, she is often reactive around other dogs. During her time in continuing education we are focusing primarily on socialization.
A pack walk is one of the best methods for introducing two dogs. Structured leash walking shows both dogs that I am in charge and that they don’t have to worry about each other.
Rosie did a great job today and with continued practice should begin to overcome her anxiety around other dogs. Big thanks to Oliver, a K9 Solutions Pet Therapy graduate, for his help with Rosie’s training.
