Lucy is learning to “settle”. Settle is a word we use when we want a dog to lay down in a certain spot (preferably with a toy to chew on if they get bored) until they are released. I tell Lucy to settle with her toy after she’s been exercised and it’s a low key time of day. This way there’s a better chance that she will comply and we’ve set her up to succeed. It’s a win win! Good girl Lucy!
