After some morning leash drills & breakfast, Cookie should be ready to settle. I put her in a DOWN and instructed her to SETTLE while I move about the house (Jasper too)! She got up a few times to follow me, but I just kept putting her back in the designated settle spot. This exercise can be very repetitious at first. Cookie finally gave up trying and stayed there. She will learn that this is what SETTLE means. Keeps her out of trouble and within sight 🙂
