#1 – Stuffing Kongs and hollow bones with old bananas, peanut butter and kibble to freeze for later when I need my dog to settle somewhere by himself. Freezing them makes it last longer so you have time to take a shower, work out, eat dinner, etc. without being bothered.
#2 – Chopping up some left over steak to freeze and save for when I need some high value treats. I’ll save that for teaching the COME command around distractions. My dog never knows when I have a roasted chicken in my pocket, so it’s always worth checking it! I also like using high value treats for the LEAVE IT command too. I might have something better!
