Sam went to Petsmart with me to do some shopping. Before we even walked in the store we did a bunch of quick commands. If he tried to pull I would turn into him and do a circle. Once Sam was calm I had him sit at the doors. Say the command once then make it happen. Sam was a little nervous around the cats and strangers. To help him with his nervousness around cats we did a bunch of drills in front of them. Since strangers make him nervous it’s important to never make him greet. Have the person hold out their hand. If Sam goes towards them then they can pet him. If he backs away then end the greeting. Great job Sam!
