Rowdy is learning not to follow me when I tell him WAIT. He can go back in the yard, but he can’t put one foot past the threshold where I just told him to WAIT. This teaches him that he doesn’t have to follow me everywhere. He knows I will be right back. I apply the WAIT in other places like the steps and rooms I don’t want him in around the house.
