Rowdy is at a point in his training where he knows he can’t run past a threshold without permission. I’m testing him by walking away and leaving the front door open. If he makes a mistake, I walk him right back to the scene of the crime and repeat until he does it successfully. Never get frustrated! And don’t back away slowly! Say SIT once or use WAIT command and walk away normally. Expect the behavior you want and you will get it!
