Here we are at Seaboard Station in Raleigh. We are all about to go into Phydeux after walking circles and doing drills. It’s important that dogs (and people) understand that the rules at home also apply in public. So we still “sit” for all car doors, steps, doorways and when we stop to shop. They must sit and be calm to be petted. No pulling is allowed and if “you are good we might come out with a new toy/treat”! Today we did come out with a new jolly ball, but sometimes we don’t. It’s all fun for them as long as they are with you! Manners cost nothing and gets them everything.
