Early morning walks can have lots of distractions. Squirrels and birds seem to be out everywhere digging in the leaves for breakfast. This is great for us because it gives Poppy practice continuing on his walks without getting to chase or lunge at anything. The dogs can all come along with me on my walk, but their focus should be on me. Poppy is doing a wonderful job of happily walking along and following commands with the other dogs as an added challenge.
