Chula’s siblings Ruby and Jovi are also working through training camp and all 3 are learning how to go for a walk. Instead of being out ahead, they will learn to walk calmly at their humans’ side as a pack. Chula had a pack walk with me and Forrest this morning. Walking with another laid back dog helps set the energy for the walk, and Chula had fun just being a dog and walking together. No need to bark at every squirrel that runs by. After our walk, everybody sits at the door. Chula tries to come in when she wants, but I put her back in a sit and only release her when I’m ready to invite her in. Good pups!
