Oakley is practicing coming when I call her name. We start from very short distances and once she gets to me, she has to sit. That way she isn’t barreling into me. Sometimes she gets a treat but most of the time I give lots and lots of praise and excitement as a reward. I wait until she’s off sniffing something in the yard, and then I call her to me. This gets her in the habit of dropping whatever she’s doing and running to me. Yay good girl Oakley!!
