No dogs allowed in my kitchen, I use the wait command to keep them out.
As I cross the threshold I pause and tell them wait and continue if they follow I give a correction and use my legs to push them back behind the line. They can stay there and wait or go off and find something appropriate to do they just can’t come another paw further!! Nutella chose to sit and wait while I fixed a drink 🙂 Good Girl!!!!
