After our morning walk, Tucker and Lana wait at the gate to come in. Then everyone waits in a down while I get their breakfasts ready. Dogs understand the concept of waiting, and all can dig in when I give the release. Eating with a pack shows all the dogs that I’m doling out the food and no one can steal from anyone else’s bowl. No need to protect anything, that’s my job!
