We are working on building their self control and confidence, so I’m adding distance to their SITs as well as time. I walk around and sometimes just stand there like I have all day! If they get up, I put them right back without repeating the command. Moose tries to creep closer & closer. Mugsy tries to use his Jedi mind tricks to make me look at him! Once they relax and work through their anxiety, they will be rewarded with a release. Believe it or not, this exercise does tire them out! Take it slow and don’t rush!
