Cosima learns that people meet first on a walk or at the house. Put the dog behind you so you can say hi first and assess whether or not the other dog should meet yours. Protect and deny access to your dog until you are sure of a positive outcome. Tell the person to rub the dogs chin/chest area so as to not overwhelm the dog. Good manners at a meeting is a reasonable expectation for Cosima. Good girl!
