Sit for meal time is a great time to practice self control. Just because the food/toy/yummy treat is put on the floor doesn’t mean Meatball can have it right away. When I’m ready to feed Meatball I give her the sit command. I only say it once. If she gets up at any point without being released I put her back into a sit without repeating the command. Next I put the food down. Once I’m ready to release her I say “all done”. Great job Meatball!
