It’s important to work on door manners. They keep your pup from running out the door. Any threshold is perfect for practicing. Don’t forget to practice in your car as well! I give the sit command once. If Meatball gets up I don’t repeat the verbal command. You can say “eh eh” and wait her out or put back in a sit. Once you are ready say “all done” or “Come”. All done means she is free to go wherever. Come means come to you and then sit (no running off). Great job Meatball!
