WAIT is such a useful command. Never get tired of practicing around all thresholds. By the time Max goes home, he will understand that WAIT means he cannot put 1 paw past the gate, back door, front door, car door, kitchen, stairs, bedroom, etc. without permission first. Eventually he will offer this behavior automatically. Consistency & patience is all it takes! An excellent leadership exercise for kids!
