This is a tough “leave it” exercise for Magnum. He is learning to ignore the cat. No fun things come from her! Once he breaks focus on the cat with the “leave it” command and looks to his handler, he gets a yummy treat! That is much more fun than the cat. Eventually you can remove the treat and direct him to toys or other activities that are more fun than getting yelled at for messing with the cat!
