Mack is learning our pack mealtime manners. During this one activity, we can practice a ton of commands and behaviors. Mack must stay in a DOWN on her PLACE while I scoop the food and put all the other dogs in their spots. This challenges Mack’s self control and focus. Once the food is placed in each dog’s spot they are all released with ALL DONE. I make sure each goes to their bowl only. Providing this structure with food around multiple dogs causes them to trust you as pack leader and look to you for guidance.
