I challenged Lucy today to go over a board bridge. This may not seem like much to us, but for a dog it can be frightening. The boards make noises and there’s an echo under your feet! These sounds can be scary the first time for a dog. Lucy approached it with no caution, then stopped when she heard the echo. I called her to come and she trusted me to keep her safe. She looked over the small stream and relaxed. Good new experiences can build confidence!
