When guests come over and knock on the door I tell Lucas “thank you”. Next I move him away from the door with my body and have him wait farther away from the door. He can go anywhere except towards the door. I have my guests come in and ignore Lucas until he calms down. Once my guests sit down I have Lucas settle with a yummy antler to chew on. If he gets up I put him back into a settle. Lucas has to stay in the settle until he is released. After a settle is the perfect time for Lucas to be loved on by guests. Great job Lucas!
