Lucas had a great time hanging out at Lowe’s. A lot of people wanted to say hi to him both in and out of the store. When a little boy wanted to say hi I made sure to keep Lucas in a sit. If he got up I would put him back in the sit without repeating the command. To help keep him in a sit I would love on him at the same time so he wouldn’t miss the attention when the little boy stopped. The adults he met also loved on him. For adults he can stand or sit for petting it’s up to you but no jumping allowed. Lucas also worked with different people. This shows Lucas that no matter who holds the leash the rules still apply.
