Lexi’s job this morning is to sit on the porch with me and watch cars, school buses, the garbage truck, and people passing by. Right now we are focusing on calmly sitting somewhere, showing Lexi nothing is going to happen. I pay her no attention and stay relaxed, letting her work through her panic. When she looks to me for help, all she sees is a calm leader. She follows my lead and is eventually able to hang out beside me. Good girl Lexi!
