Lakota finally settles down outside the kitchen area while I make breakfast. He likes to follow me around & sniff the counters! Setting boundaries using the STOP command is a great way to teach self-control and set Lakota up for success. To help him, I start off by using a long lead tied to the pantry door. In a few days, Lakota will know the kitchen rules and figure out the routine on his own. Freedom & trust must be earned! Good boy! Now let’s go play outside!
