Josie is learning that just because the crate door opens doesn’t mean that she has permission to leave yet. She is allowed out and into my house once she’s calm and quiet. She’s gotten the hang of it and now "goes to bed" when I say so. Most of the time the door stays open and she stays put with the "stay" command this strengthens her self control and the leadership between her and I. She’s earning more and more freedom every day.
