p dir=”ltr”>Jaxson tries to demand attention on his terms. We don’t allow him to jump up and get into our laps or onto the back of our furniture unless we say it’s okay. He’s learned that when he goes and lays down on his bed, he gets praised, so that’s where he goes when we tell him to get off the furniture. Once he’s quiet and calm, we invite him to come sit with us.
