Tucker is learning that humans are all about owning their doorways, whether it’s the gate or door. It’s his first and most important lesson, and it never gets old! By sitting at the gate, he is practicing self control, learning to hold a sit to be released, and waiting to be invited into my space. If he gets up 20 times, that’s ok. I can wait all day to put him right back. He’s only coming in when he’s calm, relaxed, and focused on me. Good boy Tucker!!
