Barney and Harper are interested in what I’m doing in the kitchen, but they can’t step one foot past the threshold. Having dogs underfoot while I’m cooking or putting away dishes can be tricky as well as dangerous, so they wait safely and conveniently outside. They can watch me, but not one foot forward!
