Griffin & Maxx are having structured play time with the girls! They are learning that good things happen when they are brave & willing to come when called. The “COME” game teaches their names and encourages a good recall. Take turns calling them one at a time. (Everyone else ignores them except for the person calling them.) As soon as they come to you, quickly ask for a SIT and randomly reward with either a treat or affection. It’s important to keep them guessing so they don’t become treat dependent. The SIT teaches them not to run off right away. A fun game to play in the yard or the house! It’s always worth checking in when someone calls their name!
