At our Training Camp & CE classes we trade dogs around to different trainers. We do this to teach the dogs that the same rules apply no matter who’s holding the leash. This can eliminate or at the very least reduce your dogs tendency to “test his boundaries” and see what he can get away with when someone other than his owner is holding his leash. It also makes the transition from trainer back to own easier because he’s already accustomed to following the rules when the leash is handed over. Great job Gus and Thanks Maureen!!
