A big part of being a Wheaten Terrier is being so happy and loving, which is a great thing, but so is having enough self control to calm down. Waiting before going through doors is a great way of asserting leadership and establishing a dog’s self control. We are not Walmart greeters for our dogs, we are the gate keepers. Good wait Guinness.
