After a big walk through the neighborhood, Gretel is learning that she can’t pull me back to the house. If she starts to pull ahead, I turn into her space and walk the other way so that I am making the choice to go back inside. At the end of the walk, she holds a sit in the yard while we relax and watch people and cars pass by.
