Gretel took a walk in downtown Raleigh yesterday and practiced her commands in a new environment with bigger distractions. We walked in the early evening when there were less people around so it wasn’t too overwhelming. Later we will walk when it’s much busier.
Being able to stay in a sit while her handler isn’t right at her side is a huge step for Gretel. This shows her confidence is growing, and she is letting her guard down to enjoy herself.
Seeing lots of new things and focusing on self control can really wear a girl out! Good job Gretel!
