Basil is learning that he gets more attention & has more fun when he grabs the right things like a toy instead of a shoe! He will have to mess up a lot before he finally gets it. Until then, I can no longer chase him when he grabs the wrong things. Instead, I have to pretend I don’t care. Keeping my good shoes put away is very helpful! I’ll set him up with old smelly ones instead!
