Honey, Rudy, and Blue are waiting at the top of the steps while I walk down first. Controlling all thresholds shows them I’m still in charge even when they’re going to play in the yard. Honey knows that she doesn’t need to protect herself and Blue knows I’m going to step in and end play time if she gets too rough.
