Enzo had a nice pack walk around Cameron Village before asking him to settle while we order and eat lunch. The walk let the dogs (5!) get each others scent w/o actually meeting each other. It also teaches them that WE lead them outside of the house as well as in. New places are SO scary to Enzo. I lead him with a calm but firm demeanor. I let him know that he doesn’t have to worry about ANYTHING! (And that a Yorkie was NOT on the menu!) It took a lot of time, but he eventually calmed down and relaxed!! Quick take the picture! Next time he will settle sooner and sooner. Rinse and repeat please.
